You will be introduced to the structure of the gathering program as well as an inclusive and diverse group of people. The peer-led format of the gathering allows anyone to participate in guiding a segment of the program or facilitating a discussion.

People of all backgrounds are invited. Expect a warm welcome and a chance to introduce yourself on your first visit to a Village community.

You can continue visiting as much as you like but if you'd like to keep being invited, consider becoming a member!

Members can feel a sense of belonging the more often they attend and allow for more and deeper connections with other members. There are always opportunities to be seen and heard in the safe spaces that we proved.  Please take a moment to read our community agreement to learn about the expectations for a smooth and safe gathering. 

Feel Connected

Connect comfortably with others in one-to-one conversations using a suggested prompt. We call these Community Connections. We then break out into smaller groups after suggesting prompts. We have the freedom to suggest and choose the themes of the discussions

Deeper engagement means more than a participant or visitor or member - you are passionate about your Village's mission and want to contribute your ideas and skills.

Leadership

With Village, you can explore and improve your leadership skills in public speaking, technical skills, design and management.

Co-Creation

We share the roles that facilitate our gatherings and administer our Village.  We offer service to each other by leading our Village when we have space for such responsibilities. We participate in the ongoing co-creation of our Village.  We belong to the community and the community belongs to us!

You have familiarized yourself with the structure, vision and mission of Village or have experience with building communities and are ready to dive right into Village building - or simply that you are ready to dive right in, we have created a briefcase of all the tools that you will need.
