Despite our desire for connection and belonging, more and more Americans are living in isolation, loneliness, anxiety, and fear. And our economic, political, and social systems keep pushing us further apart—eroding our faith in our institutions and each other.

Over the past decade, work at Einhorn Collaborative has demonstrated how vital nurturing, trusting relationships are not only to weathering this storm, but also to reweaving our social fabric, together.

THE GATHERING TIMELINE

ROLE GUIDE

It takes a village to run a Village!  Anyone can take on Participant Roles, Gathering Roles and Village Roles. 

Host & Co-host

Leads our gathering, introduces each component, watches timing, and welcomes and engages participants

Acknowledge Lead

Presents a topic related to injustice to raise awareness which may include stories, statistics, and/or actions

Grounding Guide

Leads a short practice that allows for relaxation and preparation to engage

Zoom Director

Controls the creation of breakout groups for community connections and open space conversations

Cafe Host

Welcomes visitors as they arrive and invites participants to share something creative


Lounge Host

Offers breakout rooms, invites quieter members to share a highlight and accompanies visitors if they choose to stay
